The Red Bridge is a pedestrian footbridge stretching across the Vologda River, spanning 80 meters to connect Zosimovskaya Street with Dobrolyubova Street through a reinforced concrete design. Its multiple staircases and lighting systems guide foot traffic across both approaches.

The original wooden bridge was built in 1847 and carried both pedestrians and horse-drawn vehicles until 1970, when the current concrete structure took its place. This transition marked a major shift in how the city's river crossing functioned.

The bridge serves as a gathering spot for wedding celebrations and family moments, with dining establishments lining both riverbanks to draw people together. It has become a natural choice for marking life's special occasions in the city.

After an entrance plate collapsed in 2018, the bridge underwent complete renovation with new staircases and enhanced lighting for safe passage. Visitors should take time to explore both approaches and enjoy the well-maintained walkways.
