Pavel Kurdyukov established the first clock museum in Russia in 1968, starting with his personal collection of 700 timepieces gathered during his work as a watchmaker.
Ten exhibition halls showcase different periods of clock making, including sundials, water clocks, and specialized timepieces used in tanks and aircraft.
Located at 31 Mayakovsky Street in Angarsk, the museum welcomes visitors Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 without entrance fees.
The museum houses rare French mantel clocks, including the Saint Bernard timepiece, and an exceptional wooden pocket watch crafted by the Russian Bronnikov masters.
