Museum of Military Glory

The Museum of Military Glory is a collection of military equipment and artifacts displayed both indoors and outdoors for visitors to view. The displays include aircraft, armored vehicles, artillery pieces, and trucks alongside documents and photographs that record military operations.

The museum was founded in 1981 as a memorial space dedicated to Russia's military past and those who served during wartime. Its collections document the 20th century periods when conflicts shaped the nation.

The museum shows Russian military tradition through displays of medals, uniforms, and personal items that visitors can see today. These collections tell stories of the experiences and roles of those who served in different conflicts.

The museum is located on Uglichskaya Street and is accessible during morning and afternoon hours on most days of the week. Visitors should wear comfortable clothing for indoor galleries and allow time to see the larger outdoor exhibition area.

Many visitors overlook that you can actually climb into the cockpits and cabins of some aircraft and vehicles to explore their interiors. This hands-on access shows how cramped and functional these machines really were.
