Most vlyublennyh, Cable-stayed pedestrian bridge in Tyumen, Russia
Most vlyublennyh is a cable-stayed pedestrian bridge spanning the Tura River, supported by white pylons and steel cables that carry a 6-meter wide walkway. The structure connects the central district to residential areas across its nearly 250-meter length.
A bridge first stood at this location in 1987, replacing an earlier wooden structure that had served the crossing. The current name came into use following a kissing contest held in 2003.
The bridge takes its name from lovers and draws couples who perform traditional rituals on the walkway. The railings fill with locks placed by visitors seeking to commemorate their relationships in a tangible way.
The bridge is easily walkable and provides direct access to riverside paths on both sides for further exploration. Visit when weather is clear to enjoy the crossing and find good spots for photos along the railings.
The structure features illuminated displays that activate in the evening, casting light across the entire crossing. Built-in clocks mark the passage of time and add an unexpected artistic element to the engineering.
