Музей-усадьба «Демидовская дача», 19th-century estate museum in Nizhny Tagil, Russia
The Demidov Estate Museum consists of three stone buildings in Empire style, featuring a tower with a spire and decorated roof elements near Tagil Pond.
The estate was constructed between 1837 and 1843 for engineer Foty Shvetsov, before being acquired by Prince San-Donato Pavel Demidov in 1855.
The first floor displays a mining engineer office from the mid-19th century, while the second floor houses the Demidov Hall for presentations and events.
The museum opens Wednesday through Sunday, with extended hours on Thursdays until 19:00, and remains closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
The southern wing exhibits 19th-century kitchen items, including historical tin cans and glass containers from the period.
