Nizhniy Tagil State Museum of Fine Arts

The museum maintains a collection of 9,000 artworks spread across 310 square meters of permanent exhibition space and 317 square meters for temporary displays.

Established on September 30, 1944, the museum emerged as a cultural institution during the final years of World War II in industrial Nizhny Tagil.

The collection presents paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts from Russian artists, documenting the evolution of national artistic movements through different periods.

The institution employs 17 specialized curators who manage the collections and organize educational programs through the lecture hall and restoration department.
