Ուրալվագոնզավոդի պատմության թանգարան

The Uralvagonzavod History Museum documents armored vehicle development through more than 1,000 artifacts, including technical drawings, prototypes, and manufacturing equipment from the factory. The collection spans three sections covering factory history, armored vehicles, and railway production.

Established in 1969, the museum marks the transformation of a railway factory into the world's largest tank production facility during World War II. This development made the plant one of the Soviet Union's most critical arms manufacturing centers.

The exhibition space displays paintings by Russian artists alongside works from students of local art schools. These pieces connect creative expression with the factory's role as a center of industrial craftsmanship.

The museum offers direct access to exhibits without complicated navigation requirements. Visitors should allow enough time to thoroughly explore all three exhibition sections.

The museum displays 14 different armored vehicle models in original form, including preserved segments of an Il-2 aircraft with its armored cockpit. These elements reveal the connection between Soviet air and ground armament development.
