The Office House of Ivan Sytin is a five-story Art Nouveau building on Tverskaya Street featuring large windows and glazed brick facades. The structure displays thoughtful engineering with innovative solutions designed to bring natural light into the work areas.
The building was constructed in 1904 by architect Adolf Erichson as the center of Sytin's publishing empire. From 1917 to 1928, the newspaper Pravda used it for printing and offices.
The building served as a center for printing and information distribution in Moscow. The spaces reflect how publishers and printers worked in the early 1900s.
The building is located at Tverskaya Street 18b near Pushkin Theatre and Hermitage Garden. It sits on a main street with good access and easy visibility.
The design used reinforced concrete and construction techniques that were uncommon for its time. The windows and open structure created efficient working conditions for large printing operations.
