Holy Resurrection Monastery

The Holy Resurrection Monastery is an Orthodox religious complex in Samara featuring a central cathedral with side altars, multiple chapels, and residential quarters for monks. The site was formerly occupied by the John the Baptist Hermitage, which operated until the 1930s when it was repurposed as a military hospital. The location was subsequently restored and reestablished as an active monastic community.
