Holy Trinity Church, Orthodox temple in Alexandrov, Russia
The Holy Trinity Church rises within the Alexandrov Kremlin complex, featuring exposed brick walls complemented by white stone decorative pillars throughout the quadrangle.
Constructed in 1509 by architect Aloisio the New, this church stands as the third largest cathedral after the Assumption and Archangel cathedrals of Moscow Kremlin.
The interior contains frescoes from the 16th century depicting various narrative themes and royal trophies from Novgorod and Tver cathedrals integrated into the portals.
The church maintains regular religious services and ceremonies, welcoming both local congregants and visitors to participate in Orthodox Christian traditions.
The stone throne inside the church received embellishment with silver-plated copper plates and featured a carved, gilded canopy above the sacred space.
