Еланский Казачий Музейно-мемориальный комплекс, Cossack memorial museum complex in Yelanskaya, Sholokhovsky District, Russia.

The Elanskiy Cossack Memorial Museum Complex sits on the grounds of a former Cossack merchant estate. The site includes a museum building, monuments, a bronze statue, and exhibition spaces that document Cossack life and history.

Established in 2006, the museum preserves records about Don Cossacks who fought in various conflicts and wars. It documents both their military involvement and the migrations of these communities that followed.

The complex displays everyday objects from Don Cossack life including spinning wheels, antique chests, and personal documents. Visitors can trace through photographs and diaries how members of this community lived and maintained their traditions.

The complex offers guided tours and exhibition information in multiple languages for visitors. Seasonal events and craft activities occur during summer months, making that period ideal for a fuller experience.

The complex walls form a horseshoe shape that symbolizes protection and support for the community's heritage. This deliberate design by sculptor K. R. Chernyavsky creates a distinctive layout that frames the entire site.
