October Park

October Park is a 7.2-hectare green space in Rostov-on-Don with multiple winding paths through areas planted with ash, spruce, sorbus, and lilac trees. A wide entrance staircase marks the central access point, leading to interconnected walking routes that allow visitors to explore the varied plantings throughout the grounds.

The park opened in 1971 as a new green space in the city. Decades later, in 2013, the site underwent substantial renovations including sewer system repairs and redesign of the entrance area.

The park serves as a gathering place where locals come together to mark important national holidays and commemorations throughout the year. It becomes a focal point for community celebrations, bringing residents together for shared moments of reflection and festivity.
