Һыу аҫты диңгеҙселәре һәйкәле, Submarine Fleet Monument in Kronstadt, Russia
The monument features a granite stele placed on a five-step foundation measuring three by five meters with anchors and submarine reliefs.
The memorial was established in 1965 to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of victory and honors submarine crews who defended Leningrad during the blockade.
The monument includes inscriptions praising the submarine crews and displays examples of submarine and ship armaments from World War II.
Located at 61 Lenin Avenue in Kronstadt, the monument received modernized lighting and maintenance improvements in December 2020.
The monument incorporates parts from the actual submarine S-156, which served in the navy for 37 years under the name Komsomolets Kazakhstan.
