The Aleksandrovskaya Fortress sits on an elevated bank of the Kuban River, featuring earthen ramparts, wooden palisades, and six bastions across its irregular polygonal layout.

General Alexander Suvorov ordered the construction of this fortress in 1778 as part of the Kuban defensive line to protect against raids from tribes across the river.

The fortress museum displays a central model of the fortification, artillery pieces, and exhibits documenting the military history of the Kuban region in the 18th century.

The fortress complex charges 100 rubles for guided tours and 35 rubles for entry to the main exhibition, with varying accessibility levels for visitors with different needs.

The fortress contains replicas of period cannons, including Unicorn howitzers, manufactured using authentic 18th-century techniques with cast-iron wheels and forged metal bases.
