Izhevsk Arsenal

Izhevsk Arsenal is a classical building with three facades featuring six-columned porticos and triangular pediments positioned on elevated central ground. The U-shaped structure includes a central courtyard and was designed to house weapons manufacturing operations.

Construction began in 1823 under architect Semön Dudin and the building served as a primary center for manufacturing and distributing weapons for the Russian military. The structure played a key role in the region's industrial development.

The building reflects its role in local industry through its design and layout, which still shape how people view the site today. Its classical form shows how important weapons production was to the city's identity.
