First Lenin statue in USSR

This reinforced concrete statue occupies the central square of Noginsk and depicts Vladimir Lenin standing with his right arm extended forward. The monument stands prominently in the public space and is visible from all approaches to the square.

This monument was erected on January 22, 1924, shortly after Lenin's death, making it the first permanent Lenin statue in the Soviet Union. Its early creation set a precedent for hundreds of similar monuments that would follow across the country.

Workers from the local factory created this statue as an expression of their values, and it remains a gathering place for community commemorations. The monument shows how people connect to their shared past through public spaces.
