Constructed between 1690 and 1696, this religious structure replaced an older tented-roof church mentioned in records from 1617.
The church functioned specifically during summer months for religious services, following northern Russian Orthodox traditions of seasonal worship patterns.
Located at coordinates 60.03182, 37.772825, the church underwent substantial restoration work in 2008 that included a complete structural dismantling.
The building lacks its own bell tower, instead sharing one with neighboring churches according to the northern three-component churchyard arrangement.
