The memorial features two concrete flame petals and curved steles with marble plates displaying names of fallen soldiers from World War II.
The memorial complex, inaugurated in 1975 on the 30th anniversary of World War II victory, originally contained 1,585 names and expanded to 2,583 names after renovation.
The memorial walls display an inscription stating 'We owe our life and bright days to all of you who fell in battle with the enemy'.
Located on a hill overlooking Bratsk city, the memorial serves as a central location for annual Victory Day celebrations and patriotic gatherings.
The monument includes more than 100 marble plates with surnames of local families like Moskovskikh, Belomestnykh, Bolsheshapovy, Vedernikovy, and Karnaukhovy.
