Hälleviksstrand Church, Church building in Hälleviksstrand, Orust Municipality, Sweden.
Hälleviksstrand Church is a church building with a cross shape, a five-sided choir, and three galleries. Turned columns support the galleries in the north, west, and south arms.
The church was built in 1904 by builder Johan Larsson from Hjälteby after a decision was made for a larger structure than originally planned. Construction occurred during a period of regional church expansion around the turn of the century.
The interior shows neo-Gothic and Nordic design choices expressed through detailed woodwork and colored glass windows with patterns. These combined styles reflect local tastes from the early 1900s.
Access is through double doors within a rectangular stone staircase leading to the entrance. The interior is straightforward to enter and move through without significant obstacles.
The bell tower is broader at its base and tapers upward with three sound openings in rounded arches. The top features a rooster-shaped weather vane.
