Roslagen Air Defence Corps, Air defence regiment in Norrtälje, Sweden.
Roslagen Air Defence Corps was a military regiment located in Norrtälje that operated across multiple training sites. The compound included shooting ranges, motor training areas, and fire control facilities for soldier instruction.
The regiment was founded in 1939 as Stockholm Anti-Aircraft Regiment and relocated to Norrtälje in 1952. It remained operational there for over 40 years before closing in 2000.
The regiment received its military standard from King Gustaf V in 1942 and maintained a coat of arms depicting Saint Eric with gunbarrels and wings.
The site used three different training zones: Nordrona for motor exercises, Mellingeholm for command operations, and Väddö for live ammunition drills. The locations were spread across the region to train different aspects of air defence.
One battery of the regiment was stationed independently on Gotland island in 1944 under the designation Lv 3 G. This unit operated separately from the main compound for an extended period.
