Eric von Rosens jaktstuga
Eric von Rosens jaktstuga, Hunting lodge in Flen Municipality, Sweden
The wooden hunting lodge stands in a clearing beside Jaktstusjön lake, featuring iron-clad doors and a gable roof with carved decorations.
Built in 1909 by architect Ivar Tengbom, this lodge incorporates Norse architectural elements and served as a recreational residence for Eric von Rosen.
The interior contains carved wooden seats depicting Norse gods Thor and Odin, along with hunting scenes and traditional Nordic decorative patterns.
The ground floor includes a main room and kitchen, while three bedrooms occupy the upper level of this protected heritage building.
The lodge features an inscription on its iron doors stating its construction date and original ownership by Eric von Rosen of Rockelsta.
