Woodlands Waterfront Park, Coastal park in Woodlands, Singapore
Woodlands Waterfront Park is a coastal park spanning about 11 hectares along Admiralty Road West, featuring a 1.5-kilometer promenade that overlooks the water. The grounds include walking paths, grassy areas, and seating zones with views across the Straits of Johor.
The park was developed in 2010 by the National Parks Board to expand green space in the area. This project was part of a broader effort to improve recreational facilities in the Woodlands region.
The park serves as a gathering place where neighbors come to exercise, walk, and spend time together throughout the day. You will see joggers, families, and groups of friends regularly using the waterfront areas.
The park provides parking facilities with handicapped access and free parking during early morning hours. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes since the promenade walk is quite long and shade is limited throughout most of the grounds.
The park sits at the northernmost point of mainland Singapore, where a jetty extends into the water from the shore. This location allows visitors to observe migratory birds feeding along the coastline.
