Veľký Inovec

Veľký Inovec reaches an elevation of 900.6 meters, making it the highest peak in the Pohronský Inovec mountain range of central Slovakia.

The mountain gained recognition as a natural monument in 1992, establishing its status as a protected geological formation in the Nitriansky region.

The ridge trail Rudná magistrála passes through the summit, connecting numerous villages and serving as a traditional hiking route for local communities.

Visitors can start their hike from Stará Huta bus stop, following a moderate 5.5-hour trail through forests and field roads to reach the summit.

The mountain's andesite rock formations create distinct landscapes, while its position offers views of the Tekov region and the meandering Hron River.
