Phu Toei National Park

The park extends across 317 square kilometers of mountainous terrain, featuring dense forests, caves with limestone formations, and numerous hiking trails.

The Thai government designated Phu Toei as the country's 86th national park on September 30, 1998, protecting its diverse ecosystems and wildlife populations.

Local Karen communities maintain their traditional practices near the park boundaries, particularly in the vicinity of Tafernkli Waterfall.

Visitors can rent camping equipment at the park headquarters and access multiple trails leading to waterfalls, caves, and the 1,123-meter Khao Thevada peak.

The park contains a natural pine forest of Pinus merkusii trees, with specimens reaching ages between 200 and 300 years.
