Wat Khao Phra Si Sanphet

The temple features three principal chedis arranged in a row, with remnants of ancient walls and foundations across the sacred grounds.

Established in 1448 during King Borommatrailokanat's reign, the temple transformed from royal palace grounds into a significant religious complex.

The temple contained a 16-meter golden Buddha statue weighing 64 tons, demonstrating the advanced metallurgical capabilities of ancient Thai craftsmen.
