Phu Langka Forest Park

Phu Langka Forest Park covers a mountainous area with river valleys and diverse vegetation distributed across different elevations. The landscape alternates between dense forests, open meadows, and watercourses that shape the terrain.

The protected area was established in 2002, transforming former agricultural and poppy cultivation lands into a nature reserve. This shift enabled native species to return and spread across the region.

Local villages practice traditional farming around the area and collaborate with conservation initiatives that benefit the surrounding forest.

The park is accessible year-round with no entrance fee, making it easy to visit. Trails run through multiple elevation levels and suit different fitness levels.

Morning fog regularly fills the valleys below Doi Phu Nom, creating a spectacular cloud display. This natural phenomenon is especially visible from the park's elevated viewpoints.
