Doi Phu Nang National Park

Doi Phu Nang National Park spans 860 square kilometers across two mountain chains of the Phi Pan Nam Range, featuring mixed evergreen forests and dry deciduous forests.

The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation established Doi Phu Nang National Park in June 2012 to protect the local ecosystems and mountain ranges.

The park contains several hiking trails where visitors observe traditional agricultural practices of local communities who maintain connections with the surrounding landscape.

Visitors can access multiple viewpoints, waterfalls including Namtok Than Sawan and Namtok Huai Ton Phueng, and explore the park's network of maintained walking paths.

The green peafowl visits the park grounds between January and March for breeding, making this period particularly significant for wildlife observation.
