Doi Phu Kha National Park

Covering 1,704 square kilometers of the Luang Prabang Range, Doi Phu Kha National Park contains numerous caves, trails, and mountain peaks reaching 1,980 meters.

The Department of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation established Doi Phu Kha National Park on June 17, 1999, to protect the region's natural resources.

The park takes its name from the chomphu phu kha tree, which produces pink flowers and holds particular importance in local Thai botanical traditions.

Visitors can access the park through Pua Town, with entrance fees of 200 Baht for adults and 100 Baht for children between 3 and 14 years old.

The park houses rare plant species such as Caryota gigas and Acer wilsonii, which grow exclusively within its boundaries in Northern Thailand.
