Wat Daeng Thammachat

The temple grounds feature an ordination hall with curved base and ornate roof brackets, flanked by two open pavilions at the entrance.

Dating from the Ayutthaya period, the temple underwent restorations during the reigns of King Rama I, King Rama III, and King Rama VI until 1915.

The temple continues to serve as a spiritual center where visitors can observe traditional Buddhist ceremonies and interact with resident monks throughout the year.

The temple complex includes several monks' quarters to the south, a central bell tower, and a modern parking area that replaced the former wooded space.

A Boh tree, originating from the location of Buddha's enlightenment in India, grows within the temple grounds near a traditional red meeting hall.
