Wat Phraya Yat, Buddhist temple in Bang Chang, Thailand.

Wat Phraya Yat sits at the intersection of three canals: Dao Dueng, Wat Chulamanee, and Amphawa, creating a waterside religious complex.

Founded around 1800, the temple underwent restoration during the Thonburi period under Prince Suphanuwong to honor King Taksin the Great.

The temple houses an ancient principal Buddha statue, measuring 140 centimeters wide and 170 centimeters tall, crafted from brick and mortar with gold leaf.

Located at 50 Moo 7 in Bang Chang Subdistrict, visitors can reach the temple via local taxis or public buses serving the Amphawa District.

During the Thai New Year water procession festival, boats carry the revered Luang Pho Khao Takhrao statue around Amphawa Island for three to four hours.
