Vorzel

Vorzel is a settlement located within Irpin urban council in the northern part of Kyiv Oblast, positioned at about 164 meters above sea level. The community developed as an industrial center during the Soviet era and retains infrastructure built during that expansion period.

The settlement gained its urban classification during the Soviet period as industrial growth and population increases drove regional development. In January 2024, national administrative reforms modernized how Ukraine classified its territorial designations.

Following Ukrainian administrative traditions, Vorzel maintained its classification as an urban settlement until January 2024, when national reforms changed territorial designations.

Visitors can reach the settlement through roads and infrastructure that developed during its industrial growth period. The local network connects it to neighboring communities across the region.

After serving as one of Ukraine's 927 urban settlements, Vorzel underwent administrative changes in 2024 as part of the national reform to modernize territorial classifications.
