Queen Mary's Dolls' House, Royal miniature mansion at Windsor Castle, United Kingdom

Queen Mary's Dolls' House is a royal miniature residence at Windsor Castle in Berkshire, England. The building spans three floors with more than fifty rooms featuring scaled furniture, decorations, and working systems at 1:12 proportion.

Sir Edwin Lutyens designed this remarkable miniature building between 1921 and 1924 as a gift for Queen Mary, wife of King George V. The project brought together hundreds of craftsmen, artists, and manufacturers who contributed to its completion.

The miniature library holds handwritten texts contributed by well-known authors who participated in this project during the 1920s. Visitors can see these tiny volumes through glass and appreciate the level of detail in the bound pages.

Visitors can view the dollhouse during regular Windsor Castle opening hours through protected glass windows. The display is accessible by lift and offers wheelchair access for those with mobility needs.

The residence features working electricity, running water, and flushing toilets in miniature form. Real wine bottles in tiny formats are stored in the perfectly scaled cellar.
