Kumali, Steel roller coaster at Flamingo Land Resort, North Yorkshire, England
Kumali is a steel roller coaster with four inversions and two significant turning elements at Flamingo Land Resort. The train holds about 20 riders across 10 cars and travels over an extended track layout.
The ride was installed in 2006 and represents one of three examples of this model operating across the United Kingdom. It forms part of a series of attractions built by the same manufacturer for parks worldwide.
The name comes from a lion that has lived at the Flamingo Land Resort. The coaster carries this name to honor the animals that share the park grounds.
Visitors must be at least 4 feet 3 inches (1.3 m) tall to ride. The tight turns and suspended sections mean riders should be comfortable with intense movement.
A signature element takes riders over a lake in a way that creates a suspended inversion moment. This gives passengers an unusual view of the water below during one of the ride's most intense sections.
