St Anthony's Lighthouse, Navigation lighthouse at St Anthony Head, Cornwall, United Kingdom.

St Anthony's Lighthouse is an octagonal tower of white granite with an attached keeper's house positioned at the entrance of Falmouth Harbor. The structure rises 19 meters and stands as a solid, functional building that stands out clearly against the coastal landscape.

Trinity House commissioned this navigational aid in 1835 to protect vessels from the dangerous Manacles Rocks. The construction was a response to the many shipwrecks that occurred in this section of coastline.

The lighthouse appeared in the opening sequence of the 1980s television series Fraggle Rock, bringing it wider recognition. This broadcasting moment made the structure a familiar sight to viewers across the world.

The automated light flashes every 15 seconds and includes a red sector that indicates the direction of hazardous rocks. Visitors should prepare for rough coastal conditions and changing weather in this exposed location.

The former keeper's quarters now serve as holiday accommodations where visitors can stay overnight and experience maritime history directly. This conversion allows guests to experience coastal heritage from the inside.
