London England Temple, Mormon temple in Newchapel, Surrey, England
The London England Temple spans 32 acres with a total floor area of 42,652 square feet and features white Portland limestone exterior walls.
The temple opened its doors on September 7, 1958, marking the first establishment of a Mormon temple in the United Kingdom.
The temple includes specialized spaces such as a baptistry, four ordinance rooms, and seven sealing rooms for religious ceremonies.
Members can access clothing rental services and a distribution center for temple garments at West Park Road, Newchapel, Surrey RH7 6HW.
During the 50th anniversary celebration, the temple received an addition of an angel Moroni statue positioned at the top of its 190-foot spire.
