The Prince of Wales inaugurated Caird Hall in 1923, following its construction initiated by King George V and Queen Mary laying the foundation stone in 1914.
The Beatles performed twice at Caird Hall in 1963 and 1964, marking early appearances that contributed to the term 'Beatlemania' entering popular culture.
