Beechwood Park

Beechwood Park is an urban green space in Newport featuring wooded sections, open lawns, terraced areas, and a narrow ravine with water features throughout the grounds. The layout creates distinct zones for walking, recreation, and relaxation.

The estate was acquired by Newport Corporation in 1900 and converted from private grounds into a public park for community use. During World War II, the site served as a military station for the war effort.
