Bryn Bras Castle, Grade II* listed castle in Llanrug, Wales

Located in Snowdonia, Bryn Bras Castle exhibits Neo-Romanesque architecture with round arched openings, chevrons, and cable designs across its stone facade.

Thomas Hopper designed this castle between 1829 and 1835 for Thomas Williams, a Welsh attorney, incorporating Norman Revival architectural elements throughout the structure.

The castle grounds contain decorative elements including statues of gladiators and the god Pan positioned within a pool near the knot garden.

The castle operates as a holiday residence, offering self-catering apartments within its 32-acre estate of gardens, woodlands, and mountainous terrain.

The property served as a stud farm under Captain Frank Stewart Barnard, who held the position of High Sheriff of Caernarvonshire from 1903 to 1904.
