Chelfham Viaduct, Railway viaduct in Bratton Fleming, England.
The Chelfham Viaduct extends 400 feet in length and rises 70 feet high, featuring eight tall arches with semicircular heads and brick construction patterns.
Built between 1896 and 1897 under F. W. Chanter's engineering direction, this Grade II listed structure supported the Lynton-Barnstaple railway until its closure in 1935.
The viaduct represents Victorian railway engineering excellence through its design elements, including yellow brick construction and rock-faced plinths to the piers.
Visitors can find the viaduct at coordinates 51.102967 latitude and -3.987287 longitude, within North Devon's civil parish of Bratton Fleming.
The construction required over 250,000 bricks and cost £6,500, making it the largest bridge structure on a narrow gauge line in England.
