Cheshire Military Museum, Military history museum in Chester, England
The Cheshire Military Museum presents uniforms, medals, weapons, and personal items from local regiments dating back to the 17th century.
The museum occupies a Regency building designed by Thomas Harrison, constructed on the site of a Norman castle that deteriorated after the English Civil War.
The collection includes the Victoria Cross and bullet-marked helmet of Thomas Alfred Jones, who captured 102 German soldiers during military service.
Visitors can allocate between one to two hours to explore the exhibits, with guided tours offering detailed information about specific artifacts and time periods.
