Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway

The Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is a narrow gauge railway on the Lincolnshire coast operating small trains with steam and diesel locomotives. The line runs approximately two kilometers from Kingsway to Lakeside station.

The railway was founded in 1948 with a small initial section and grew gradually through several expansions. Its current extent was reached in the early 2000s.

The railway serves as a gathering place for families and offers themed journeys throughout the year. You can experience traditional train rides with seasonal variations such as Christmas decorations and special events.

Trains run regularly from two different stations and the journey is suitable for small children and adults. There is a station with a pub where visitors can relax before or after their ride.

Lakeside station houses a tiny pub that measures just a few square meters. This small space is known as one of the most unusual drinking establishments in the area.
