Culford Park, Grade II listed mansion in Culford, England.

Culford Park is a grand mansion featuring Italian architectural elements located in the countryside of Suffolk. The estate spans 480 acres of maintained gardens and includes a lake with an iron bridge crossing it.

The Bacon family built a red-brick hall on the site in 1591 after acquiring the estate from the Coote family in 1540. The property subsequently developed into an important country seat with significant architectural enhancements over the centuries.

The grounds display design elements created by landscape architect Humphry Repton, who documented his plans in a detailed Red Book for the estate in 1792. His vision continues to shape how the gardens and landscape are arranged today.

The property now operates as part of an educational school and houses learning facilities across its grounds. Visitor access and opening times may vary depending on school activities and events throughout the year.

The iron bridge spanning the lake was constructed in 1804 and ranks among England's oldest cast-iron structures that remain unmodified. Its design demonstrates early innovations in metal engineering of that era.
