Crewe Hall, 17th-century country house in Crewe Green, England.
The red brick mansion features high ceilings, elaborate wood carvings, ornate chimneypieces, and decorative plasterwork throughout its grand interior spaces.
Sir Randolph Crewe commissioned the construction of this Jacobean mansion between 1615 and 1636, making it one of the largest houses in Cheshire at that time.
The interior spaces display a combination of original Jacobean design elements and Victorian modifications added during the 1866 restoration by architect Edward Middleton Barry.
The estate now functions as part of the QHotels Collection, providing accommodations, conference facilities, and event spaces within its historical setting.
The hall's surrounding gardens, designed by Capability Brown in the 18th century, received Grade II listed status for their historical landscaping significance.
