Cotswold Wildlife Park, Wildlife park and gardens in Oxfordshire, England
The 160-acre park features over 260 animal species, including giraffes, lions, meerkats, and white rhinoceros living in landscaped habitats with natural surroundings.
John Heyworth established the park in 1970, transforming the grounds of a Georgian Gothic manor house built in 1804 into a wildlife conservation center.
The park maintains 40 species within European conservation programs, contributing to international efforts for preserving endangered animals through breeding and research initiatives.
Visitors can purchase electronic tickets online at discounted rates and attend scheduled animal feedings, with penguin sessions occurring daily at 11 am and 3 pm.
A narrow gauge railway, constructed in 1974, transports guests through different sections of the park, providing views of various animal habitats and gardens.
