Cougar Park, Rugby and football stadium in Keighley, England.
Cougar Park is a stadium in Keighley, England, used for rugby league, rugby union, and association football, with a natural grass pitch and covered sections for spectators. It sits on Lawkholme Lane and has both seated stands and open terrace areas around the pitch.
The ground dates to 1876, when Keighley Rugby Football Club was granted use of a field at Lawkholme Lane. Stands and facilities were gradually added over the following decades as the club grew.
The main stand is named after Danny Jones, a player who died during a match, making it one of the few stands in rugby league named as a tribute to a player lost in active competition. The North Terrace was renamed the Terry Hollindrake Stand in 2015, honoring another figure connected to the club.
The ground has a restaurant, function rooms, and a gym that can be used on non-match days as well. Accessible areas are available for visitors with reduced mobility, and the entrance is easy to find from Lawkholme Lane.
During the 1995 Rugby League World Cup, held in England, Cougar Park hosted a match between Fiji and South Africa, which Fiji won. It was one of the very few times an international Rugby League fixture took place at this ground.
