Ducketts Common, Public park in Harringay, London.
Ducketts Common is a public park in Harringay spanning roughly 1.7 hectares with several sports facilities. It features basketball courts, table tennis areas, a multi-use games field, and an outdoor gym in one accessible location.
The land originally belonged to Laurence Duket, a goldsmith from the 13th century who held around 160 acres of farmland within Tottenham manor. The property eventually became the public green space known by his name today.
The place is named after a medieval goldsmith whose legacy is reflected in the land itself. Local volunteers and ChristChurch London have transformed it into a space where native wildflowers now thrive and define the experience for visitors.
The park is accessible 24 hours a day with several entry points near Turnpike Lane station and multiple bus routes nearby. Wheelchair access is available through various entrances throughout the space.
More than 30 native wildflower species grow here, attracting bumblebees, butterflies, and other insects year-round. This diverse flowering landscape makes it a place where natural changes unfold through the seasons.
