Lordship Recreation Ground, Recreation area in Tottenham, United Kingdom
Lordship Recreation Ground is a recreation area spread across a large open space with tennis courts, a lake, sports fields, and walking paths. The grounds feature different zones designed for outdoor sports and physical activities.
The grounds opened in 1932 as a public recreation space for the neighborhood. A special traffic instruction zone with miniature streets was added in the late 1930s to teach children about road safety.
The Lordship Hub functions as a gathering place where neighbors meet and participate in community activities. Local classes and seasonal celebrations bring residents together around shared interests.
Multiple entrances from Lordship Lane and Downhills Park Road make it easy to reach the grounds. Visitors can explore different activity areas and follow the walking routes throughout the space.
The Moselle Brook flows through the grounds from west to east, creating natural water features. This waterway supports diverse wildlife and vegetation within the urban setting.
