East Park

East Park is a large green space in Kingston upon Hull featuring a boating lake, multiple gardens, sports facilities, and play areas spread across the site. The different zones are distributed along Holderness Road and cater to various recreational activities and age groups.

This space was established in 1887 when the Parks Committee acquired land from Mrs. Anne Watson's Trust. The creation of this park coincided with major celebrations during that period.

The site houses a restored Splash Boat, a water ride originally designed by Charles Wicksteed that has since become recognized as a heritage structure. This unusual attraction reflects a distinctive era of recreation technology from the past.
