Enfield Town Park, Public park in Enfield Town, United Kingdom
Enfield Town Park is a 9.5-hectare green space in north London bounded by the New River Loop on its southern and western edges. The grounds include outdoor fitness facilities and various walking areas.
The park was created in 1902 and represents the last remaining public section of the original Enfield Old Park that once existed in this area. Its establishment marked the beginning of a long history as a local recreation space.
The park serves as a gathering place where locals exercise, walk, and enjoy outdoor time together, particularly on weekends. Different areas accommodate various activities, from quiet strolls to fitness training.
The park is easily accessible on foot and features wide paths suitable for walking and jogging. Visitors should plan to leave before sunset, as the gates close at dusk.
In 2023, the Enfield Living Memorial was integrated into the park, a heart-shaped ring of trees with metal art honoring local victims of the Covid-19 pandemic. This memorial was created to keep the memory of that time alive.
