Gorgie City Farm, Community farm in Gorgie, Edinburgh, United Kingdom
The farm features a variety of small animals, growing spaces, and outdoor areas designed for community engagement and agricultural education.
Local residents established the farm in the late 1970s by transforming an abandoned site into a green space for the community.
The facility provides educational opportunities through its community programs, agricultural activities, and sustainable farming demonstrations.
The farm currently remains closed to visitors and volunteers while the City Council reviews proposals from organizations interested in managing the site.
The farm received a royal visit from Queen Elizabeth II in July 2019, just four months before its temporary closure due to financial difficulties.
